Anybody wo does not want administrator/moderator rights?

And what sort of Categories and Forums do we believe we need?

Any wishes for special forum mods,

or styles?



PS: the permission system is really... grand and slightly confusing.
If sth doesn't show up or isn't allowed or any other lack of access, it has to be checked in the forum's permissions.

A general discussion forum might be useful. And probably one for computer games.

Ergh, and it would be nice to change the date format so it includes the actual day (ie Monday, Tuesday), not just the date.

Yeah, I am just playing around with smilies Because the phpBB smilies are just ugly...

You guys should have permission to add forums and rank titles. Dont get lost in the ACP (Administration Control Panel) settings

Ah, and it seems the forum has issues figuring out the avatar's dimensions. Just enter them manually. I set the max size to 150x150.

Um, just about everything? How would you go about transferring posts from TAP to here?

Hm, maybe there is a "mod", that allows transfering topics? I searched briefly for "download topic" last night in the phpbb mods, but didn't come up with anything... yet.

The other way is... hardcore-copying everything over, post by post. But that's just plain silly.


And even ~if~ there would be such a tool. I suspect it needs to be added on TAP as well, for the sheer sake of being able to export single topics.

EDIT: well s.o. wrote his own script to merge 2 forums. He said it took over 12 hours X-D but then his databases where bigger 200MB.

It's fairly simple to add "tags" to the forum through the ACP -> [Posting] -> [BBcode]

I just created a couple:

The forum permissions are open for discussion of course. I was just slightly annoyed to be stalked by a spam-bot already, while we set that thing here up.


@Dark - Do you have any rights to increase the displayed posts for topics on TAP?
I am thinking about a reasonable method to transfer posts. One Idea is to use the print-view of a topic parse it through a html to bbcode converter and make a post from it.
